<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve highly accurate correction to image blur with respect to parallel vibration while reducing degradation of vibration isolation control performance, which results from a sudden change of an image magnification during an automatic focusing operation. <P>SOLUTION: Using an angular velocity meter 108p and an accelerator 109p, an imaging apparatus detects an angular vibration and parallel vibration caused in the apparatus. An angular vibration correction coefficient calculating part 313 calculates a correction coefficient relative to angular vibration, and a parallel vibration correction coefficient calculating part 314 calculates a correction coefficient for parallel vibration. When calculating amounts of corrections to angular vibration and parallel vibration by using the corresponding correction coefficients, a camera CPU 106 obtains information indicating the focusing degree of an imaging optical system, and restricts a change in each amount of correction by making the correction coefficient small when the focusing degree is low, compared to the correction coefficient used when the focusing degree is high. According to the amount of corrections to angular vibration and parallel vibration, a driving part 112 drives a vibration correcting part 110 and corrects an image blur caused in an image surface of the imaging optical system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
