<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scattering of toner in a developing device even with a simple configuration and to quickly stir supplied toner and developer in the device. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device comprises: a developing part 20 including rotating members 21, 22 therein for stirring a developer containing powders; an air blowing part 11 for blowing air; a first duct 12 which connects the air blowing part 11 and the developing part 20; and a second duct 13 which connects the developing part 20 and the air blowing part 11. A first connection part 121 where the developing part 20 and the first duct 12 are connected is provided more towards the gravity direction than the position of a prescribed interface K between the developer and air in the developing part 20, and a second connection part 131 where the developing part 20 and the second duct 13 are connected is provided more towards the opposite side of the gravity direction than the position of the prescribed interface K. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
