<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of users. <P>SOLUTION: In an automatic transaction device 2, when card processing means 3 is disapproved to read a magnetic recording medium 4a of a transaction card 4, rewriting means 2e causes the card processing means 3 to rewrite card information on the magnetic recording medium 4a on the basis of card information on an IC chip 4b. Even when a magnetic abnormality occurs in the magnetic recording medium 4a of the transaction card 4, this configuration can save the trouble of a user by eliminating the necessity of submitting the transaction card 4 to a clerk of a banking institution, dispense with a reissue procedure, reduce a complicated office procedure, and consequently suppress the movement therefor to improve the convenience of the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
