摘要 <p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide an organic light-emitting element wherein it is possible to expect excellent luminescence properties by improving the resistance of the hole injection property to dissolution and by exerting excellent hole injection efficiency. An organic EL element (1) is configured by laminating a positive electrode (2), a hole injection layer (4), a buffer layer (6A), a light-emitting layer (6B), and a negative electrode (8) on one surface of a substrate (10) in said order. A light-emitting region is partitioned by means of a bank (5). The hole injection layer (4) is a tungsten oxide layer containing an oxygen defect section and formed under predetermined conditions, wherein in an electronic state the occupancy level has a bond energy range that is lower than the lowest bond energy in a valence bond by 1.8 to 3.6 eV. After the layer is formed, the density thereof is increased by firing same for 15 to 45 minutes in an atmosphere in which the temperature is between 200 and 230°C, thereby improving the resistance to dissolution by an etching liquid or a cleaning liquid used during the bank formation step.</p>
