<p>Provided is a multiprocessor system capable of efficiently debugging the operation of one processor and the operation of another processor. In a multiprocessor system having a first processor and a second processor that receives notifications from the first processor and executes processes, the first processor sequentially specifies commands to be executed from a command string and, when the specified command is a processing request command, provides a notification to the second processor on the basis of that processing request, and when the specified command is not a processing request command, the first processor executes that command. In addition, the first processor determines whether a debugging mode has been set and, when it is determined that the debugging mode has been set and a processing request command is specified, the first processor stops the specification of subsequent commands and provides the aforementioned notification, and when it is detected that the second processor has completed the processing in response to the aforementioned notification, the first processor again begins to specify commands.</p> |
