<p>The present invention relates to a system for generating electricity from moving vehicles using a platform plate which is kept inclined on a raised base level to allow vehicles to pass over the raised surface. The raised, surface comprises of plurality of bars substantially spaced parallel apart and connected together with joint plates. When the vehicles pass over the surface, the raised surface is pushed down in a vertical direction under the influence of the weight and speed of the vehicles passing over the raised surface. A driving shaft is connected to the plurality of bars using coupling means, such that the depression of the raised surface due to the movement of said vehicles causes the coupling means to engage itself with the driving shaft for rotating the driving shaft in a unidirectional manner. Further, the driving shaft includes a combination of crown wheel and pinion connected at the driving shaft to translate the motion of the driving shaft to another shaft (balance wheel shaft), which is substantially perpendicular to the driving shaft. The balance wheel shaft accommodates a gear box connected to a bearing and thereafter a balanced wheel and then to a gear wheel. A generator is connected to such gear wheel by a generator gear, such that the gear wheel depends on the rotational capacity of said generator.</p> |
