<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interesting toy allowing a user to enjoy effects with various sounds, etc. and allowing the user to generate an effect based on user operation. <P>SOLUTION: The toy includes: a toy body 20 with attachment parts 23A-23D; function switches 31A-31D to be detachably attached to the attachment parts 23A-23D; a detection means provided in the toy body 20 to detect that the function switches 31A-31D are attached to the attachment parts 23A-23D; an effect part 12 provided in the toy body 20 to execute an effect with light or sound; and a control part provided in the toy body 20.
