<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrapped rice lump and a method for unwrapping the wrapped rice lump that can be unwrapped by a simpler method. <P>SOLUTION: A wrapping sheet 1 is formed to hold a sheet-like food 4 between a rectangular outer film 2 and an inner film 3 disposed on the rear face side of the outer film 2. The outer film 2 has, substantially at the longitudinal center, a split part 21 formed with slits 24 at predetermined spaces over the width direction. The inner film 3 is formed by overlapping two film pieces 31, 31 substantially at the longitudinal center part of the outer film 2 and welding the overlapped film pieces to the outer film 2 at the peripheral edge of the sheet-like food 4. The rice lump 6 is placed on the inner film 3 of the wrapping sheet 1, and the rice lump 6 is wrapped in the wrapping sheet 1 so that the peripheral surface of the rice lump 6 faces the split part 21 of the outer film 2 through the inner film 3 and the sheet-like food 4.
