<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of appropriately determining a screen direction. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device includes: a display screen 13 for displaying an image; imaging means 11 for imaging the anterior part of the display screen 13 and acquiring an image; person detection means 22 for detecting a person from the acquired image; viewing possibility analysis means 23 for calculating the motion amount of the detected person, calculating an analysis value expressing a possibility that the person is viewing an image on the basis of the direction of the face of the person, and weighting the analysis value in accordance with the motion amount; viewer determination means 24 for determining whether the detected person is the viewer of the display screen 13 or not based on the weighted analysis value; direction determination means 25 for determining the screen direction of the display screen 13 on the basis of the position of the person determined to be the viewer by the viewer determination means 24; and drive means 26 for driving by rotation the display screen 13 in the screen direction determined by the direction determination means 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
