<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system which can easily extract and present appropriate via-points, and a navigation device and an information providing server for the navigation system. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation system is configured to: associate categories of pieces of facility information which are to be used as via-point information with a staying time, and calculate estimated arrival time TY for arriving at a destination by passing through a predetermined route (step S14); calculate a spare time TX by comparing a time difference between the estimated arrival time TY and desired arrival time TK input by an occupant (step S15); extract pieces of facility information belonging to a category of the staying time which does not exceeds the spare time TX (step S18); and present the extracted pieces of facility information (step S19). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
