<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor, a p-type semiconductor, a semiconductor bonding element, a pn-junction element, and a photoelectric converter capable of correctly controlling at least one of a prohibition band width and a conductivity type according to an application purpose and capable of being put into practical use. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor is manufactured by mixing an Ia-group element in iron sulfide.
