<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method capable of achieving magnetization higher than before when a rare-earth magnet is produced using HDDR treatment. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing a rare-earth magnet includes: a step in which R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>Fe<SB POS="POST">14</SB>B powder is prepared; a step in which the hydrocracking treatment is applied to the R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>Fe<SB POS="POST">14</SB>B powder to be decomposed into three phases of NdH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, Fe, Fe<SB POS="POST">2</SB>B; a step in which powder of three phases is mixed into the other R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>Fe<SB POS="POST">14</SB>B powder; a step in which powder compaction of the obtained mixed powder is performed in a magnetic field; a next step in which pressure molding is performed; and a step in which the dehydrogenation/re-coupling treatment is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
