<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus such as an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus for securing the safety of a subject when an emergency situation occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus performs: storing the kinds of probes and control contents associated with the kinds of the probes; discriminating the kind of the connected probe in accordance with the reception of an input of emergency information indicating the occurrence of an emergency situation; acquiring the control contents corresponding to the discrimination result; and performing control corresponding to the control contents. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
