CROSSOVER MEASURING APPARATUS BY MEANS OF IMAGE PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crossover measuring apparatus by means of image processing capable of precisely demarcating between a crossover and a background.

SOLUTION: The crossover measuring apparatus by means of image processing includes: a line sensor camera 2 installed on the roof of a vehicle; and a measuring computer 3 installed inside the vehicle. The measuring computer 3 includes: a line sensor image creating section 3a; a standard variation background removal processing section 3b; a discrimination analysis binarization processing section 3c; a noise removal processing section 3d; a crossover edge detection section 3e; a crossover height calculation section 3f and a crossover deviation calculation section 3g. The crossover and the background are demarcated from each other by performing binarization processing after performing standard variation background removal processing on a line sensor image.
