The invention relates to a method, to a computer software product, to a communications terminal, and to a system for securing a transaction, more particularly a payment transaction, between a communications terminal (1) and a server instance (2), the communications terminal (1) comprising a processor (P) with an unsecured runtime environment (NZ) and a secured runtime environment (TZ), with the method steps: establishing a first communications channel (4) between the communications terminal (1) and the server instance (2); and transmitting (D) transaction-relevant data from the communications terminal (1) to the server instance (2) via the first communications channel (4). Prior to the transmission, a second communications channel (5) is established between the browser application (AL) in the unsecured runtime environment (NZ) and a transaction application (TL) in the secured runtime environment (TZ), and at least part of the input transaction-relevant data is transmitted to the transaction application (TL) via the second communications channel (5). On the basis of the received part of the transaction-relevant data, the transaction application (TL) generates confirmation information for securing the transaction. Said confirmation information is used to approve the transaction in the server instance (2). |
