Compressed air system (10) of a wastewater treatment plant, comprises a compressed-air unit (12) by which air can be raised to a higher pressure level, and a pipe system (14) for transporting the compressed air produced by the compressed air unit to an air entry system (16), by which the compressed air can be introduced into a wastewater treatment site (18). The pipe system at least partially exhibits a heat insulation and/or device for heating the air in the pipe system, which is present in the region between the compressed air unit and the air entry system. An independent claim is also included for improving the compressed air system of wastewater treatment plant.
