Provided is a bubble generation mechanism capable of generating sufficient microscopic bubbles without using a complicated gas-liquid mixing mechanism. In a member body (6) in which an inflow end that is a liquid inflow side and an outflow end that is a liquid outflow side are defined, a plurality of collision part-equipped flow paths (4) which are each formed in a penetration form connecting an inflow port (2a) open at the inflow end and an outflow port (2b) open at the outflow end and in each of which a collision part (3) for forming a flow path cross-sectional area reduction part is disposed at a midway position in a liquid flow direction are formed. A gas-dissolved liquid supplied to the inflow end of the member body (6) is distributed among the plurality of collision part-equipped flow paths (4) and passed through each of the flow path cross-sectional area reduction parts while speeding up, dissolved gas is precipitated by the effect of reduced pressure to produce a bubble-containing liquid, and the bubble containing liquids from the respective collision part-equipped flow paths (4) are collected at the outflow end of the member body (6).
