<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the number of eye points which are stereoscopically visible and an observation area to be expanded. <P>SOLUTION: A display unit comprises: a display part dividing a plurality of viewpoint images in N times (N is an integer number equal to or more than 2) and performing time division display of the viewpoint images; a back light for emitting light for image display toward the display part; and a separation part for separating M viewpoint images (M is an integer number equal to or more than 2) displayed in a same time zone in the display part. The light emission direction of the back light can be switch-controlled in N directions, and accordingly, the light emission direction is switch-controlled in a time-division manner in synchronization with the time division display by the display part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
