<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire in which correction and non-correction of the initial illuminance can be set easily, and can be set by specifying the correction and non-correction of the initial illuminance. <P>SOLUTION: The luminaire 10 comprises a lighting circuit 17 which lights a light source 11 with an external power supply, a storage unit 22 which stores the cumulative lighting time of the light source 11, and a control circuit 18 which controls the lighting circuit 17 in a set mode. When the on/off pattern of the external power supply is a predetermined initial illuminance correction setting pattern, the control circuit 18 sets an initial illuminance correction mode for correcting the initial illuminance depending on the cumulative lighting time of the light source 11.
