摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charging device that reduces a fluctuation range of a battery voltage by shortening a period of flow of a useless charging current to a battery. <P>SOLUTION: A rectification circuit for rectifying an output of a generator 1 to feed a battery 3 is a controlled rectification circuit 2 in which both upper and lower arms of a bridge comprise thyristors Tu-Tw and Tx-Tz, respectively. Thyristor control circuits 9u-9w and 9x-9z control the thyristors of the controlled rectification circuit 2 to apply a charging current from the controlled rectification circuit 2 to the battery 3 by turning on only an upper arm side thyristor to which an anode-cathode forward voltage is applied by a phase voltage transitioning from a negative half wave to a positive half wave while a charge command signal is generated, and a lower arm side thyristor to which an anode-cathode forward voltage is applied by a phase voltage transitioning from a positive half wave to a negative half wave while the charge command signal is generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
