<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of verifying whether or not a failure is due to information compression when the failure such as noise or an error occurs in data. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes a data collection means, a data processing means and a verification means. The data collection means irradiates a subject with X-rays, collects detection data on the X-rays that have passed through the subject, compresses the detection data by a lossy compression system, and thus generates compressed data. The data processing means generates X-ray CT image data on the subject on the basis of the compressed data transmitted from the data collection means through a transmission route. The verification means makes the non-compressed detection data of the X-rays be transmitted to the data processing means via the transmission route at a transmission rate equal to or lower than the transmission rate of the compressed data as verification data according to information from an input device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
