<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple medium processing device which carries out a plurality of processes, such as plotting and cutting, on a medium, such as paper, without attaching or detaching processing means which carry out the plurality of processes. <P>SOLUTION: The medium processing device, which carries out two kinds of processes on paper with a pen 11 and a cutter 12, includes a carriage 10 including a pen holder 13 which holds the pen 11, a cutter holder 14 which holds the cutter 12, and a changeover unit 15 which reduces and increases the distance between one of the pen 11 and cutter 12, and the paper, in comparison with the distance between the other one and the paper, in such a state that the pen holder 13 holds the pen 11 and the cutter holder 14 holds the cutter 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
