The friction clutch (1) has a pressure plate (4) which is axially displaceable against counter-pressure plate (3), and a clutch disc (12) which is arranged and engaged between the counter-pressure plate and pressure plate. The counter-pressure plate and pressure plate respectively have friction surfaces (11,30) which are in contact with clutch disc. The axially extending openings are formed in the region of the friction surfaces of the counter-pressure plate and pressure plate.
