<p>The present invention relates to a method and system for separating sulphate from a scrubbing liquid. Flue gas is treated in a scrubbing zone for SO 2 absorption in an aqueous scrubbing liquid. The scrubbing liquid is subsequently regenerated with CaO, CaCO 3 , Ca(OH) 2 and/or a mixture thereof in two successive regeneration zones, wherein part of the liquid is recirculated into the scrubbing zone after the treatment in the first regeneration zone.</p> |
