PURPOSE: A wastewater sludge reduction apparatus using ultrasound is provided to reduce water content and a water generation rate in sludge after a dehydration process and a natural drying process by increasing the amount of eluting water from the sludge in wastewater that is transferred from an under current tank to a belt press. CONSTITUTION: A wastewater sludge reduction apparatus using ultrasound includes an ultrasound treatment tank(6) and at least two ultrasound generators(7). Wastewater flows into the ultrasound treatment tank. The at least two ultrasound generators are mounted in the ultrasound treatment tank and generate ultrasounds of two different frequencies. The ultrasounds of two different frequencies generated from the ultrasound generators are irradiated to wastewater sludge in the ultrasound treatment tank. A sludge shifter pipe(8) capable of moving the wastewater sludge flowed into the ultrasound treatment tank in a zigzag manner is built-in the ultrasound treatment tank.
