The road security system has a unit with a screen (1) which can display the message 'danger'. Information about the imminent danger is set from cells (7) in the vehicle, and distance between nearby vehicles is set by second set of cells (8). The danger signal can also be set by a push switch (2), and the frequency range extended by another button (3). A further button (4) allows maintenance of the danger signal on the screen.
