The roller door is controlled using a remote control (3), which can be operated in two modes: an adjustment and setting mode and a normal operating mode where the open and close commands are emitted. The signals are received (2) by a receiver inside the roller cylinder (6), and processed to set the direction of movement and stop positions when in setting mode.
