<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for an air conditioner that improves the detecting accuracy of an indoor temperature and thereby contributes to an optimum air conditioning operation. <P>SOLUTION: The remote controller for the air conditioner is equipped with a built-in temperature sensor 2, a connector 3, and a control part 4. An external temperature sensor 5 includes a cord 51 and a sensor part 52. The sensor part 52 is provided at one end of the cord 51. The external temperature sensor 5 can be detachably connected with the connector 3 at an other end side. A temperature at a position different from that where the remote controller for the air conditioner is installed can be detected. The control part 4 adopts the temperature detected by the built-in temperature sensor 2 when the external temperature sensor 5 is not connected to the connector 3 and adopts the temperature detected by the external temperature sensor 5 when the external temperature sensor 5 is connected to the connector 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
