DETERMINING METHOD OF ADDITIONAL REDUCTION OF PRODUCT AFTER SHUTDOWN OF COKE OVEN

PURPOSE: A method for determining a time for the additional reduction of production after the shutdown of a coke oven is provided which minimizes temperature rising by oversupplying heat to a specified coke oven and the reduction of deterioration of coke in quality by lack of the quantity of heat in a specified oven. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining a time for the additional reduction of production after the shutdown of a coke oven comprises (a)calculating the quantity of heat to be shortened until an additional reduction of production begins to start after a coke oven is shut down and (b)obtaining the time for the additional reduction of production by dividing 50% of calculated quantity of heat by the quantity of heat to be supplied during the additional reduction of production.
