The attachment fixes an ultrasonic transducer (8) to a therapy head which comprises devices for producing acoustic waves that converge at a focus (F). The transducer is indirectly or directly attached to curved brackets. The acoustic axis of the transducer, when installed on the therapy head, runs through the focus of the therapy head.
