<p>The holding device (1) has fixing unit that is detachedly attached to a table top (30). A locking unit is provided to attach the holding device to table top. A lift rail (12) is provided to lift the scale with respect to table top. The lift rail is comprised with control element which is displaceable perpendicular to stroke direction. An operation unit (10) is arranged parallel to the table top. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) balance; and (2) table top.</p>
