PURPOSE: A method for controlling the measurement temperature in the width direction of a rolled steel sheet is provided to accurately measure the temperature of a rolled steel sheet even when the rolled steel sheet is stopped. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the measurement temperature in the width direction of a rolled steel sheet comprises the steps of: calculating a speed signal of a rolled steel sheet from a motor rotating signal of a roller table(S2), transmitting the speed signal and operating signal of the rolled steel sheet to a width thermometer(S3), determining the forward movement, reverse movement, and stop of the rolled steel sheet according to the speed signal and operating signal of the rolled steel sheet, and measuring the temperature of the rolled steel sheet in the width direction according to the determined state of the rolled steel sheet(S10). |
