A washing machine is provided to choose a carrying handle and to efficiently utilize the carrying handle according to carried direction and position of a user while the user carries the washing machine. A washing machine comprises a housing and a handle unit. The housing makes appearance of the washing machine. The handle unit is formed at the housing in a pair. The handle unit has a first handle and a second handle(27). The first handle has a handle sill(26) formed in parallel to one-side wall of the housing to let a user choose. The second handle is rotatably formed adjacently to the first handle. The housing is formed with an installation groove formed to install the handle unit. The installation groove is integrally formed with the first handle, and combined with a handle cover(25) formed with a fixing hole(29) at the lower side of the first handle to install the second handle. The fixing holes are formed at two sides of the handle cover. The second handle has an insertion unit(27c) and a curved unit(27d). The insertion unit is fitted into the fixing hole. The curved unit is curved from the insertion unit. |
