<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of a positioning rate and positioning result. <P>SOLUTION: At the time "T3" when a third threshold period has passed after the start of a first high-resolution correlation integrating processing, a second high-resolution correlation integrating processing is started. Then, at the time "T4" when a second threshold period (> the third threshold period) has passed after the start of the first high-resolution correlation integrating processing, positioning operation is performed using a code phase for pseudo-distance obtained from the processing result of the first high-resolution correlation integrating processing, and the first high-resolution correlation integrating processing is started again from the beginning.
