A cylindrical housing (2) defines an axis (A) and includes an end plate (2a). A rotor shaft (4) rotates about the axis inside the housing and includes an end projecting axially from the housing. An electric rotor (3a) is located on the shaft. A tubular stator coil (3b) is also located on the housing and is juxtaposed with the rotor. A radial impeller (5,8) is fixed on the shaft end outside the housing and is provided with an inner face (7,10) directed towards the end plate. A magnetic bearing half (6,9) is fixed on the end plate immediately adjacent and directed at the impeller inner face. |
