PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser light source device, in which spontaneously emitted light contained in output light is suppressed for obtaining high spectral purity. SOLUTION: A semiconductor laser 1, whose one light-emission surface is low in reflection, a lens 2 that converts emitted light from the low-reflection light-emitting surface of the semiconductor laser 1 into a parallel ray, and a light feedback means 3 that receives the light via the lens 2 and selects a desired wavelength to feed it back via the lens to the semiconductor laser 1 are contained in an external resonator type laser light source device, and it is provided with a branching filter 4 that is placed on a feedback path formed by the light feedback means 3 and the semiconductor laser 1 to make a part of the light from the light feedback means 3 pass through to the semiconductor laser 1 and for extracting the other part to the outside as output light.
