PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for weaving a glass cloth so as to weave a glass cloth having excellent qualities. SOLUTION: Just before weaving a glass cloth from glass warps and a glass weft 1 by using a weaving machine, the presence of defect of the glass warps and the glass weft 1 is examined by a glass yarn detector 2, when the defect is detected, the defect is removed or the glass yarn is replaced with another glass yarn and a glass cloth is woven by the proper glass yarn.
