SOLUTION: In the thermal decomposition melting processing of waste by melting the waste sending down the waste through a drying preheating zone 12, a thermal decomposing zone 13, a combusting zone 14 and melting zone 15 using a shaft kiln type thermal decomposition melting furnace, the distribution of the waste inside the furnace is equalized by collapsing charged object by the shock of the pressure energy of a high-pressure inert gas blown into the areas of the thermal decomposition zone 13 and the combustion zone 14 from an inert gas blowing in hole 16 when a furnace top gas temperature rises higher than the furnace top gas temperature of a normal state and the differential pressure inside the furnace drops than the differential pressure inside the furnace of the normal state.
