PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a sufficient precipitation area by employing a structure for separating boiler water with a multiplayer plate filter provided above a header thereby separating steam through cyclon separation of a header having a small diameter and utilizing a precipitation pipe as a vertical header. SOLUTION: A vertical header 1 serves as a steam separator 5, a precipitation pipe, or the like. An evaporation heat transfer surface 2 stands from a lower horizontal header 3 forming a simple and effective boiler water circulation passage. An upper header 4 collects water tubes on the evaporation heat transfer surface 2 and introduces them to a steam separating section. The steam separator 5 separates steam and returns boiler water to circulation water. A filter 6 compensates for incomplete separation performance of the small space steam separator 5 and increases the dryness fraction of steam. A superheating heat transfer surface 7 generates superheated steam. Safety is ensured because a large drum, e.g. a natural circulation boiler, is not included and energy is saved because the boiler is started/stopped in a short time. Since the precipitation pipe also serves as a header, a sufficient cross-sectional area is ensured and safety circulation of boiler water is guaranteed.
