PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items to reduce cost by dispensing with a guide member, and to permit use in environment requiring cleanness by suppressing the generation of dust or the like. SOLUTION: This gate valve is provided with a lever member 78 connected to a piston rod 64 so as to be movable up and down; a displacement member 80 provided to move up and down integrally with the lever member 78 and to be inclinedly rotatable at the displacement terminus, with support rollers 46 as fulcrums; a spring member 84 interposed between the lever member 78 and displacement member 80; a pin member 94 locked to the side face of the lever member 78; and an engaging groove part 96 formed at the side face of the displacement member 80 so that the pin member 94 is engaged therein.
