PURPOSE: A system for controlling ON/OFF of air conditioner for running vehicle at steady speed is provided to maintain a vehicle speed constantly, to save fuel, and to improve uphill running performance on a uphill road by constituting the system in such a manner that the system compares a set vehicle speed with a running vehicle speed and, thereafter, turns off an air conditioner if the running vehicle speed is lower than the set vehicle speed by 5 seconds or more, or continues to turn on the air conditioner if the running vehicle speed is greater than the set vehicle speed by 5 seconds or more. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling ON/OFF of air conditioner for running vehicle at steady speed comprises a vehicle speed sensor(20) for detecting a vehicle speed; an input/output unit(30) for receiving and processing the detected sensor of the vehicle speed sensor(20) and outputting the processed data; a CPU(40) including a comparator for comparing and determining the detected vehicle speed detected at the vehicle speed sensor(20) with a set vehicle speed; an air conditioner(50) being turned on/off according to a value compared and determined at the comparator; and a fuel injection device(60) for controlling the amount of fuel according to the value compared and determined at the comparator. |
