PURPOSE: Slab heating apparatus is provided to evenly heat both far and near portions of slab because the length of flame of a first heating unit is longer than that of a second heating unit. CONSTITUTION: Slab heating apparatus comprises a first heating unit(10), a second heating unit(20), and a coupling unit. The first heating unit heats a far portion of slab and comprises a first fuel part for supplying fuel for combustion, a first high-pressure part which surrounds the first fuel part and supplies high-pressure combustion air to extend the length of flame, and a first air part which surrounds the first high-pressure part and supplies combustion air. The second heating unit heats a near portion of the slab with flame shorter than the first heating unit. The coupling part fastens the first heating unit to the second heating unit. |
