The invention relates to a panic door, which is designed as a swing door, which can be unlocked by a pressing force acting in the escape direction on the door leaf, for which purpose the door leaf is equipped with a sensor, by means of which it can be detected that a pressing force is applied, and for which purpose a bolt that acts between the door leaf and the door frame can be moved out of the locked position in a machine-driven manner.
