PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth retaining wall structure excellent in structural stability and suitable for conservation of natural environment in a low cost, utilizing thinnings and earth generated by excavation which can be obtained in the construction site or in the vicinity thereof. SOLUTION: The reinforced earth retaining wall 1 is constituted mutually and complementarily of a reinforcing earthen wall in which earth is filled in a flat cage constituted of geogrids 19, 16 of the front face and the rear face and horizontal geogrids 23 arranged in multiple stages and the external face is bound and a wall face of thinnings protecting the front face geogrid from ultraviolet rays even after construction of the reinforcing earthen wall body.
