PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost for a key switching by improving workability in assembling a key top with a link member and simplifying a forming die for the key top. SOLUTION: The key switching device comprises a first link member 27 and a second link member 28. The first link member 27 has a slit 29 which open in the longitudinal direction. The second link member 28 has shaft pieces 32, 32 at the lower end, inserted loosely in the slit 29. The ends of the shaft pieces 32, 32 are slidably locked to cam faces 33a, 33a provided on a housing 22. An upper piece 28a is pivotally supported on a rotatably locking hole portion 25, having a locking hole 25a with its opening lower face provided on the reverse of the key top 21 for assembling a guide support member 23. The up- and-down movement of the key top 21 is guided and supported by the guide support member 23.
