PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle size distribution-measuring apparatus which can prevent generation of errors in complicated validation work, by including a function for informing an apparatus operator of the procedures for the validation work of the apparatus. SOLUTION: An apparatus control part 3 is set, which has a storage medium 3m for storing a validation data D indicating procedures for the validation work of this particle size distribution-measuring apparatus 1, and a validation support function for sequentially reading the validation procedures from the validation data D and sequentially controlling the particle size distribution- measuring apparatus 1 according to measurement procedures among the procedures that do not require manipulation of the apparatus operator, while indicating to the apparatus operator work procedures that require manipulation of the apparatus operator.
