RESIN FOAM AND FOAM SEALING MATERIAL

PURPOSE: A resin foam with excellent assemblability and a foaming sealant including the foamed resin article are provided to enhance assemblability and to reduce degree of breaking elongation. CONSTITUTION: A resin foam has the repulsion tension of 1.0-9.0 N/cm^2 in 80% compression, and the tensile modulus of 5.0-14.0 MPa. The repulsion tension in 80% compression is repulsion tension when the resin foam is compressed 80% of the initial thickness. The resin foam has the average cell diameter of 10-180 microns and the apparent density is 0.01-0.10 g/cm^3. After the resin foam dips the inactive gas into the resin composition and is formed after reducing pressure. To check the dust-proofing property, a test piece(14) is installed.
