PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with expensive hardware. SOLUTION: In this on-vehicle acoustic apparatus 10 having the theft preventive function for invalidating an operation command, the acoustic apparatus is provided with a memory card 17 detachably installed in a card slot 23B of the on-vehicle acoustic apparatus and rewritably storing certification data, a memory card control part 18 for reading out the certification data stored in the memory card, a flash ROM 22 for storing the certification data and a CPU 24 for releasing the theft preventive function when judged as the same by judging whether or not the certification data on the memory card is the same as the certification data stored in the flash ROM according to starting of the on-vehicle acoustic apparatus.
