CATALYST AND METHOD FOR DIRECTLY SYNTHESIZING HYDROGEN PEROXIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst capable of safely manufacturing hydrogen peroxide at a low cost in a high concentration and a manufacturing method of hydrogen peroxide. SOLUTION: The catalyst is a binary metal catalyst manufactured by dispersing precursors of respective metal components of the catalyst successively and alternately on a carrier. The hydrogen peroxide is synthesized by the direct reaction of hydrogen with oxygen in the presence of the catalyst in a solvent medium containing halogenation cocatalyst and an acid co-catalyst.
