PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for feeding grease which can be in cope with an actual loading condition of a ball screw used for a motor-driven injection molding machine and an apparatus for the same. SOLUTION: When temperature of a ball screw part 1 is measured and the temperature of the ball screw part 1 exceeds the temperature set in advance in a controller 7, a signal for discharge is outputted to a grease pump 6 to discharge grease into the ball screw part 1. It is possible thereby to feed the grease in cope with the actual loading condition of the ball screw 2.
